Boulder Neurosurgical Associates (BNA) received the highest ratings in the Denver Metro Area for the services provided at Boulder Community Hospital.
CareChex Medical Quality Rating Systems provides the most statistically accurate ratings of hospital quality. The ratings are based on a comprehensive evaluation of the three major components of medical quality – the process of care, outcomes of care and patient satisfaction. The information for the CareChex analysis comes from publicly available databases and includes virtually all general, acute-care, non-federal U.S. hospitals.
BNA and affiliated staff were evaluated for doctor and nurse communication, staff responsiveness, hospital environment, post-discharge information and overall outcomes. Patient care was rated based on inpatient quality, patient safety, pain control, patient satisfaction, complication rates and other factors. In addition to placing BNA surgeons at the top of the field in the Boulder-Denver area, these ratings also put BNA in the top 10% of hospitals in the country by a national rating service.

BNA Research Receives Best Paper Award at NASS.

BNA performed a landmark, prospective randomized double-blinded clinical study, which demonstrated that maintaining consistent segmental sagittal alignment or increasing segmental lordosis during ACDF improves clinical outcomes. The study was presented at the North American Spine Society’s 24th Annual Meeting in San Francisco.
