Lee Nelson, M.D.
Dr. Nelson specializes in the treatment of cranial and spinal disorders with the emphasis on minimally invasive techniques. He completed his residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in one of the largest and busiest training programs in the country. He spent additional time focusing on both spinal and cranial oncology at the renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center. He has practiced locally in the Boulder area since 2004 and continues to focus on delivering state of the art care to his patients. He is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and teaches minimally invasive and image guided surgical techniques to surgeons from around the country. He continues to be actively involved in research and participates in many FDA approved clinical trials.
