Sanat Dixit, M.D.
Dr. Dixit specializes in the treatment of cerebrovascular disease, including cerebral aneurysms, vascular malformations, carotid and vertebral artery stenosis, and acute stroke. Dr. Dixit earned his undergraduate degrees at Case Western Reserve University, and his M.D. at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He completed his neurosurgical training at the Pennsylvania State University- M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He subsequently completed a fellowship in interventional neuroradiology and endovascular neurosurgery, with added training in cerebrovascular surgery at the Semmes-Murphey Clinic/Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN. He is one of a handful of neurosurgeons in the United States cross trained in both neurosurgery and interventional neuroradiology, and the first in the State of Colorado. He has been involved in several landmark trials involving acute stroke therapies, carotid artery stenting and endovascular aneurysm treatments.
